Tattoos and scars are physical reminders of a lot of things. Memories, injuries, adventures, and each with a story behind it.
Skin-Deep Stories explores the tales behind tattoos and scars while encouraging good communication around boundaries and maintaining enthusiastic consent.
In this game, two players will take turns drawing on each other and then telling tales about what has been drawn on them.
There are two modes to the game—tattoos or scars—to accommodate different types of stories and player preferences.
Included are two layouts of the game:
Skin-Deep-Stories_Colour_MiniZine.pdf is a letter-size mini-zine layout designed for printing, cutting, and folding into a booklet. It is double-sided and the game mode can be changed by inverting the booklet.
Skin-Deep-Stories_Digital-Two-Page.pdf is a letter-size portrait layout designed for reading on digital surfaces. It is printable as well.

This is such an awesome pair of games that fit so perfectly under this umbrella. It also makes for a really creative, fun experience to draw on someone else and have them draw on me, even if I'm quite terrible at art 🤣🤣🤣
